The KENNA Foundation is a Colorado 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Colorado Springs, EIN 92-1035765. This policy explains what we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do about it.
It covers this website only. Information you give us when you enroll in P.A.C.K.S., apply to a program, or receive services from us is handled separately, and we tell you how at the point we ask for it.
Two forms on this site collect information, and both are optional:
When you submit either one, the details are emailed to us and saved in this website's database. We use them to reply to you, or to send you news about the foundation. That is all.

Once you leave this site, that company's privacy policy governs what happens next. We receive only what those forms are set up to send us.
Our host keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting. Our login page records failed sign-in attempts so it can block brute-force attacks. Neither is used to track visitors.
Pages on this site load typefaces from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when a page opens.
We use Google Analytics 4 to see how people find and use the site: which pages get read, roughly where visitors are, and what device they are on.
Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser so it can tell one visit from another. It does not record your name or your email address. Google Analytics 4 does not store individual IP addresses; it uses your IP to work out an approximate location, then discards it. We set it to delete visit-level data after 14 months.
We have not switched on Google's advertising features, so we build no advertising audiences and send nothing to advertisers.
If you would rather not be counted, install Google's opt-out browser add-on or block cookies in your browser settings. The site works normally either way.
Cookies here come from two places: Google Analytics, as above, and WordPress itself if you sign in as an administrator. We run no advertising or tracking cookies. You can delete or block cookies through your browser whenever you like.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not hand it to advertisers or data brokers. We do not use it for targeted advertising, and we do not make automated decisions about you.
We share information only with the services that keep this site running: our host, our email provider, our donation platform, and Google Analytics. We would also share it where the law requires.
Form submissions sit in the website database and in our inbox until we no longer need them, and we clear out old ones periodically. Newsletter addresses stay until you ask us to remove yours.
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct anything wrong, delete it, or stop emailing you. Email or call us and we will take care of it. There is no charge, and asking will never change how we treat you.
Colorado residents have rights under the Colorado Privacy Act, including access, correction, deletion, a portable copy, and the right to opt out of targeted advertising and data sales. We run neither, and we honor the rest of those requests from anyone who asks, wherever you live.
If we ever have to turn a request down, reply to our answer and we will look again. You can also raise it with the Colorado Attorney General at coag.gov.
This site is written for adults: parents, caregivers, donors, volunteers, and partners. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 through it. Where a program application asks about a child, a parent or guardian completes it. If you believe a child has sent us something through this site, email us and we will delete it.
If we change this policy, we update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we say so on the site.
